Film Transfer

Remember when...

We put up the screen and closed the blinds.  The sound of the projector - everyone talking and laughing.

If we do have film hidden away, most of us don't have projectors at all, let alone ones that work.  If you did get the projector working and managed to transfer over to your video camera, you may have been mostly pleased.  It's a tedious process, but can be done successfully.

Why send it out - have me do that for you?

  • My equipment transfers frame by frame - eliminating flicker.
  • I clean the film (helps to preserve it)
  • Repair poor or broken splices
  • Add audio (if you choose) and add titles
  • Transfer to VHS or DVD
  • Include a digital master (uncompressed for future formats)

There's a lot to it, but your memories are worth it.  Imagine your family films still being viewed decades from now.
