Tapes weren't designed to last...

Unfortunately, most audio recordings have a limited life.  Exposure to humidity, light and improper storage can all affect the longevity of cassettes and reel to reel tapes.

If you're like me, you may have a few tapes that are irreplaceable.  My grandfather made some tapes in the 50’s and 60’s that are priceless.  I can't imagine letting them slip away.

So years ago, I began transferring those recordings to newer tape.  Today, transfers to CD ensure that those tapes will live on for my family.  And with digital techniques to reduce noise and enhance the recordings, those tapes are more vibrant and enjoyable to listen to.

I approach each project based on what I feel the recording deserves, while keeping your budget in mind.
